She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reed and Susie Marybelle Cavitt (Martz); her husband Bill James; and her siblings, Clyde Cavitt and Donna Kirk.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale James (Mic) of Reasnor and Donnie James (Tahnee) of Nevada; her grandchildren, Eric James (Krystal) of Kellogg, Jeannie Pilcher (Michael) of Ankeny, Matt James (Jessica) of Des Moines, Jimmy James of Newton, Jessica Cunningham (Clint) of Cedar Rapids, Justin James (Jessica) of Mingo and Dalton Meeks; and her sister Linda Koon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
