It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald G Bucklin of Newton, Iowa, born in Baxter, Iowa, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bucklin and Luretha Bucklin (Gearhart); his wife Donna Bucklin; his son William Christian; and his brothers, Edward, Russell and Thomas Bucklin.
He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Christian (Darren Clausen) of Otley; his daughter-in-law Paula Christian of Illinois; his grandchildren, Amanda Mendoza (Daniel), Brandon Evans (Heather) and Daniel Witzel; his great grandchild Mayarah; and his brother Vernon Bucklin (Phyllis) of Applington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
