It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erwin Marvin Wittenberg of Newton, Iowa, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on October 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Wittenberg and Lydia Hellen Wittenberg (Teske); and his sisters, Madeline and Adeline. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lucille Peterson; his children, Colleen Wittenberg of Newton, Dr. Craig Wittenberg (Angela) of Pella and Cami Gunsaulus (Aaron) of Newton; and his sister Sylvia Ochel of Big Rock, TX. He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
