It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Albers of Newton, Iowa, born in Golden, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eilert Albers and Wilhelmine Albers (Goldenstein); his wife Arlene Albers; his siblings, Albert, Francis, Paul, Walter, Raymond Albers, Mildred Croxton and Rosalie DeNiro; and his grandsons, Jonathan and Samuel Henderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Dusenberry (DeWayne) of Davenport, Teresa Heiling (Jim) of Sioux City, Carol Smith (John) of Hallsville and Marie Henderson (Curt) of Newton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
