He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis Smith and Pam Smith (Diamond) of Newton; his daughters, Zoe of Ankeny and Ava Smith of Ankeny; his stepdaughter Allison Allen; his sister Autumn; his nephew Preston Smith of Ankeny; and his grandparents, Doris Diamond of Newton, Bill Barger of Marshalltown, Dean Diamond and Eleanor Barger. He was also cherished by many friends and co-workers.
