She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred and Estelle Larsen (Gosnell); her son George F. Moon II; and her brothers, Ted and Merle Larsen.
She is survived by: her husband George Frederick Moon; her daughter Melody Bonenberger (David); her daughter-in-law Faye Moon; her grandchildren, James Collin Moon, Karen Moon and Rachel Moon; and her great grandchildren, Evan Moon, Ethan Moon, Easton Moon, Kaelie Spallholtz and Austin Moon Raabe. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Immanuel Baptist Church in Newton, to Hope Ministries in Des Moines or to a charity of your choosing.
