He is survived by: his children, Mary Sparks (Greg) of Eureka, CA, Ruth Harris (Lanny) of Lexington, KY, John Vogelaar (Janet) and Tim Vogelaar (Karmyn) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Aaron Sparks (Emily) of Durham, NC, Alastor Arbor (Alaula), Anna Bishop (Jay) of Lexington, David Vogelaar (Lindsey), Christopher Vogelaar, Steven Vogelaar, Vincent Vogelaar (Emily), Simone Vogelaar, Katrice Vogelaar and Kristine Vogelaar of Nashville; and his great grandchildren, Anne, Margaret Sparks, Isla and Clark Vogelaar.
