She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Cooper and Minthia Cooper (Burggraaf); her husband Chester D. Pickett; her daughters-in-law, Betty Jean Pickett and Connie Sue Pickett; her great grandchild Steven Welcher; and her sisters, Thelma Brown, Irma Pickett and Carmen Peak.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Pickett of Newton and James Pickett (Janet) of Mitchellville; her grandchildren, Terry Pickett (Kim), Alvin Pickett, Tammy Welcher (Shawn) and Jennifer Prendergast (Jim); her great grandchildren, Lisa Montgomery (Mitch), Sydney Pickett (Jason Eck), Madelyn Pickett, Rachel Prendergast and Sarah Prendergast; her great great grandchildren, Kent Montgomery, Klayton Montgomery and Jett Knudsen; and her sister Ruby Blount.
Social distancing will be practiced, and masks are required.
