With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Dickerson of Newton, Iowa, born in Unionville, Missouri, who passed away on October 31, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Speak and Mamie Speak (McWilliams); her husband Ray Dickerson; her siblings, Keith Speak and Barbara Robson; her sons-in-law, Jerry Clement and Jim Ayers; her grandchildren-in-law, Brian McWhirter and Diana Purvis; and her great grandchild Tyler Purvis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karla Clement of Newton, Sharon Clark of Newton and Debi Snook (Rob) of Newton; and her grandchildren, Steve Ayers, Julie McWhirter, Lisa Hansen (Ron Dille), Mark Ayers, Dave Purvis, Kim Mueller (Keith), Leasha Trease (Ryan), Emily Barrett (Shawn) and Ryan Provin. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
