She was predeceased by: her parents, Justin Johnson and Janice Johnson (Rawlings); her husband Thomas Cronin; her daughter Sally Little; her son-in-law Greg Thiel; and her granddaughter Lisa Warden.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Thiel of Ankeny, IA, Steven T. Cronin (Kay) of Franklin, TN and Mike Cronin (Sue) of Riverside, IA; her children-in-law, Kathy Cronin and Dave Little of Newton, IA; her grandchildren, Jason (Jane), Justin, Katie (Rob), Kerry, Patrick (Rachel), Alyssa (Tony) and Carly (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Jamie, Bailey, Miles, Malcom, Hazel, Edmund, Rowan, Reese, June and Ellie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pence - Reese Funeral Home (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1600 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice in Doris's honor.
