It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Baarda (Newton, Iowa), who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Der and Tressie Van Der (Van Wyk); and her brother Howard Van Der Zyl. She is survived by: her husband Bob of Newton; her daughters, Darla Baarda of Newton and Diane Vander Weerdt (Kelvin) of Sully; her granddaughters, Darci Keller (Josh) of Toledo, Grace Vander Weerdt and Matthew Smalley of Sully; her great grandchild Lane Kitzmann of Sully; her sisters, Marcille Bosveld (Willard) of Broomfield and Karen Pfantz of Newton; and also Pella. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
