He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Meier (Sheila) of Greenfield and David Meier (Susan) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Tracy Murphy (Ken) of Van Meter, Suzanne O'Riley (Kelly) of Ankeny, Hesper Jameson (Brian) of Greenfield, Gentri Meier of Atlantic, Samantha Shildneck (Kevin) of Charleston and Daniel Meier of Des Moines; and his great grandchildren, Kase, Kilian, Cormick, Akayla and Eleni. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
