He was predeceased by: his parents, Delwin Cross and Lucille Cross (Emmack); and his son Daniel Cross. He is survived by: his wife Janice Cross of Newton; his daughter Deb Smith (Jeff) of Ames; his grandchildren, Tausha Tjernagel (Mike), Caitlin Coates (Adam), Dylan Cross and Garret Cross; his great grandchildren, Addison, Zoey and Oliver; and his siblings, Gary Cross of St. Cloud, Marty Cross (Deb) of Newton, Imy Bruce (Charlie) of Newton and Mickey Van Baale of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aiming For A Cure or Outdoors Without Boundaries may be left at the funeral home.
