He is survived by: his wife Nancy Williams of Newton; his children, Bob Williams (Denise) of Newton, Eric Williams of Newton, Todd DeSchmidt of Hudson, Shelley Slaughter of Des Moines and Don Vestal (Regina) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Bailey, Baker, Maggie, Rachael, Erika, Roland, Monica, Kendra, Tayler and Madison; and his brothers, Ron Williams (Jenice Van Rees) of Lynnville and Gary Williams (Sonja) of Grundy Center.
