Dennis Lee Machin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 76, Dennis Lee Machin (Newton, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Machin and Beula Machin (Smith); and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Rhondi Machin of Newton, Chad Machin (Tammy) of Kellogg and Robin Sly (Rich) of Newton; his grandchildren, Michael Machin (Heidi), Kaitlyn Ellsworth (Dallas), Kenna Machin-Green (Austin), Nikolas Ball, Dayne Sly (Becca), Devin Sly (Beth), Keely Sly and Kinzi Sly; his great grandchildren, Charles, Raegan, Addelyn, Myla, Ellie, Camilla, Spencer, Kolynn and Murphy; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Machin (Darlene), Lloyd Machin (Dianna), Marie Hoffman and Lucinda Hollingshead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 5333 US-6, Newton, IA 50208.

Memorials to the Kellogg Fire and Ambulance may be left at the funeral home or at the service.
