He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Klingensmith and Betty Klingensmith (Gardner); his son Ryan Klingensmith; his brother Nick Klingensmith; and his nephews, Jay Taber and Josh Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Anderson of Newton; his children, Denny and Lori; his friends, Buddy and Sandy Cupples; his children, Cory Klingensmith (Ashlynn) of Newton and Kelly Weiss (Dylan) of Hanlontown; his grandchildren, Julian, Riley Klingensmith and Baby Ellie Klingensmith; his child Harley Weiss; and his sisters, Judy Raffety (Dean) of Newton, Bev Taber of Newton and Jeanne Brouwer (Rod) of Arizona.
Denny always had a love for animals, but following the death of his son, Ryan, in 2016, he found happiness in helping out the local animal rescue league by donating food and supplies.
