She is survived by: her husband Mike Brown of Newton; her children, Connie Mattson (Mike Yoakum) of Newton, Tony Gabrielson (Sharon) of Newton and Michael Brown, Jr. of Newton; her brother Jeri Dean Kibbee of Marshalltown; and her pet Eeliak. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
