He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul and Bessie Prendergast (McGowan); and his siblings, Kathryn Clark, Helen Hart and Paul Prendergast.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his children, Joyce Prendergast (Shawn James), Laura Jochems (Steve), Julie Prendergast (Rick Roush) and James Prendergast (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, David Bentley, Clint Jochems, Rachel Prendergast, Clayton Bentley, Alex Bentley, Austin James and Sarah Prendergast.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to David's family.
