He is survived by: his daughter Lori DePenning (Tony Van Roekel) of Ankeny; his grandsons, Alex Sandholm and Josh Slea (Cailyn Correlus); his brother Tom Sutphin (Nancy) of Moberly, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Melinda Woody, Theresa Gobb, Milissa Ford, Penny Landen, Christina Sutphin, Tim Gobb, Troy Sutphin, Derek Sutphin and Chris Sutphin.
