He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joe and Harriet Muriel Cupples (Walker); his son Charlie Cupples; and his siblings, Jim Cupples and Cindy J. Cupples.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Cupples of Newton; his children, Jason R. Cupples of Newton, Dustin L. Cupples of Newton and Abbie S. Wedeking (Skyler) of Newton; his grandchildren, Tucker, Brooklyn, Boston Cupples, Tierra, NaKaiah McNeeley, Alexander Cupples, Liam, Ryker and Charlee Wedeking; his siblings, David Cupples (Carolyn) of Newton, Nancy Andersen (Jim) of Kellogg and Buddy Cupples (Sandy) of Newton; and his sister-in-law Shirley Cupples. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (210 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Suncrest Home Health & Hospice may be left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service.
