She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel H. Miner and Elna Miner (Fleming); her son Dale LeRoy "Dudley", Jr.; her husband Dale L. Saunders, Sr.; her grandson Robbie Saunders; and her sister Julie Brandon.
She is survived by: her son Tim Saunders (Rhonda) of Newton; her grandchildren, Josh Saunders (Brittany DeFrance) of Newton, Jenny Jensen (James) of Newton and Kelsey Saunders of Des Moines; her great grandchild Trent Saunders; her grandchildren, LJ, Kayden, Wyatt, Emma Jensen, Jackson DeGrado, Paige and Lillie Dupee; and her sister Sandy Tyson of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Croix Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
