He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer James and Maxine Atwood (Acklin); and his siblings, Barb Engle (Bob) and Larry James. He is survived by: his wife Vicki James of Newton; his children, Jefferson James of Newton and Megan James of Newton; his grandchildren, Karysa, Keegan Young, Jaxson and Olivia James; and his sister Sharon Masters (Paul) of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
