We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2020, at the age of 96, Clarice Trotter (Newton, Iowa), born in Prairie City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McWhirter and Zelpha McWhirter (Russell); her husband Dave; her son David Michael Trotter; her great grandchild Nevaeh Anne Knox; and her siblings, Robert McWhirter, Ruth Nass, Helen Rexroat and Alice Trotter.

She is survived by: her former husband David S. Trotter; her children, Saundra Funk (Richard) of Milford, Doug Trotter (Anita) of Newton and Rick Trotter of Kellogg; her foster son Bob McKeever of Newton; her grandchildren, Gary Funk, Eric Funk (Chrisann), Scott Funk (Molly Sikora), Joe Funk (Carrie), Ryan Funk (Jodi), Rob Trotter, Lisa Trotter-Kruse, Chasity Trotter (Earl Knox), Brittany Trotter, Cody Trotter and Jenifer McKeever; and her nieces, Joyce Conley and Staci Parisi. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
