It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Damman of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gorp and Celia Van Gorp (Millgate); her brother Laverne; her sister-in-law Jean; her sister Wanda; and her sister-in-law Grace.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Damman; her sons, Jeff (Lisa) of Ankeny and Dwight (Tammy) of Newton; her grandchildren, Desiree Cameron (Tony) of Newton, Ryan Damman (Samantha) of Des Moines, Shelby Price (Chad) of Newton, Rachel McCann (Jonathan) of Ankeny, Derek Damman of Newton and Rebecca Damman of Ankeny; her brothers, Eldred Van Gorp of Newton and Carroll Van Gorp (Lois) of Reasnor; her brother-in-law Marion Willemsen of Newton; her great grandchildren, Tabitha, Statler, Meredith, Isla and George; and her stepgrandchildren, Jackie Shea (Matthew), Sophie, Parker of Unionville, MO, Dalton Taylor of Westbrook, MN, Chelsey Stevenson (Kailer), Jaxson, Rylee, Lillee, Linken of Mercer, MO and Dustin Taylor (Amanda) of Newton.
