He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Slatton and Betty Slatton (Smith); and his brothers, Frankie Slatton and Terry Slatton. He is survived by: his daughter Kyra DeVault (John Wells) of Newton; his grandson Joey Wells; his siblings, Fred Slatton, Bertha Hansen (Craig Crall) and Sharel Simbro (Denny Baker); his nephews, Josh Slatton and James Slatton; and his niece Stephanie Castaneda.
