He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick and Violett Osborn (Brown); his wife Rachael Rollstin; his great grandchild Madison Nesbitt; and his siblings, Leona, Maxine Osborn, Robert Osborn, John Osborn, Helen Hills, Ramona Russell, Ada Strick, Shirley Hoyla and James Osborn.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Osborn (Christine) of Newton, Carrie Soderblom of Newton and Christina Spangenburg (Chuck) of Newton; his grandchildren, Meghan Valdes (George), Lindsay Halverson (Wade), Justin Osborn (Lisa), Jenelle Braglia (Nick), Chelsea Soderblom, Melissa McDonald (Mike), Kyle Soderblom (Jen), Colton Spangenburg and Kaylee Spangenburg; his siblings, Steve Osborn (Linda), Stanley Osborn, Patricia Anthony and Joe Osborn (Kathy); and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Osborn and Nancy LaFrenz. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (1409 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
