He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Farrell; his children, Steve McNeer (Mina), Sandy Ryan (Mike), Paul McNeer (Kara) and Jen Kalisz (Joe); his grandchildren, Andrew McNeer (Mandi), Adam McNeer (Shantel), Aaron McNeer (Loren), Megan Cross (Nick), Sarah Brelsford (Derrick), Jessie Theis (Tom), Kole McNeer, Kort McNeer and Evan Smith; and his brother John McNeer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home & Cremation Services (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Pence Reese Funeral Home (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1115 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1600 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home & Cremation Services (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208).
