She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Eugene and Maurine Louise Billman; her former husband Clifford D. Piatt; her stepdaughter Cora Breckenridge; her stepgranddaughter Tera Breckenridge; and her siblings, Janet Slycord and Phillip Slycord.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Van Sickle (Chris) of Newton and Shelley Beck of Ankeny; her stepdaughter Teresa Pelock of Newton; her granddaughters, Morgan Beck of Ankeny, Erin Van Sickle of Newton and Erika Van Sickle of Newton; her stepgranddaughters, Kasi Breckenridge of Iowa, Jessica Pelock of Newton and Olivia Pelock of Newton; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Matilyn, Kale and Adalie; her siblings, Joyce Slycord of Newton and Paul Slycord, Jr. (Karen) of Altoona; and also Donald Catlett of Newton.
