She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hogan and Cora Hogan (France); her husband James Giles; and her daughters-in-law, Cindy Pickering and Janet Pickering.
She is survived by: her former spouse Glen Pickering; her children, Vickie Johnson (Tim) of Newton and Darrell Pickering of Petrolia, TX; her stepchildren, David Giles (Laura) of Bethany, OK and Gloria Bozarth (Roger) of Yukon, OK; and her grandchildren, Kristi, Tessa, Tiffany, Eric, Jamie, Holley and Chris. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association can be directed to the family or can be sent to the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton, Iowa.
