It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Salyers (Newton, Iowa), who passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Salyers and Leta Salyers (Harris); and his brothers, Darrell Salyers and William Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Ann Salyers of Newton; his children, Carol Salyers, Jr. of Newton, Diane Siglin (Doyle) of Ankeny, Sue McCuen of Altoona and Mike Salyers (Cheryl) of Newton; his grandchildren, Lindsay Barwick (Aron), Mindy Clift (Ryan), Hillary McCuen, George McCuen and Max Salyers; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Dillyn, Reid, Penelope and Maya.
