He is survived by: his wife Kathy Winn of Newton; his son Mike Gilbert (Terri); his grandchildren, Miles and Ava; and his sisters-in-law, Dee Kendall and Mariea Bucklin (Bennie). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews; many cousins.
