He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Stokesbary and Nancy Stokesbary (Kitchen). He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne Stokesbary, John Stokesbary and Alyssa Weeces (Blake Young); his grandchildren, Anthony Finn, Yui Young and Hinata "Hina" Young; and his brothers, Paul Stokesbary, Ronnie "Ron" Stokesbary (Chandra) and Donny "Don" Stokesbary (Lori).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
