He is survived by: his brothers, Maurice Medland and Norman Medland; his cousin Mary Alice Langston of Chariton; his sister-in-law Ella Hendershot of Newton; and his nieces, Ann Buch (Hendershot) of Newton and Lynn Trease (Hendershot) of Birmingham.
