It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean McMahon of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Vansice and Anna Vansice (Garrison); her husband Leland Homer McMahon; and her sons, Robert, Jerry and James "Jim" McMahon.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Butler; her grandchildren, Mya Martin (Patrick), Hillary McMahon, Alisha Erickson, Scott McMahon (Jen), Jake McMahon, Jenny Gerlach (Kevin) and Cara Sue Torner; and her sister Janice Funk. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.
