She is survived by: her children, Jaci McDermott (Kath Streb) of Ankeny and Joe McDermott (Kathy) of Newton; her niece Rose Murphy (Steve) of Newton; her grandsons, Matt Murphy (Alicia), Grant McDermott (Tammy Brain), Reid McDermott (Carly Dahlem) and Brooks McDermott; and her great grandchildren, Jael, Annabelle Lee Murphy and Declan Joseph Lee McDermott.
