She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Lillig and Veronica Lillig (Woltering) of Keota; her husband Keith Altenhofen; her son Michael Jon Altenhofen; her brother Mike LeRoy Lillig; her granddaughters, Emily and Sara Altenhofen; and her great grandchild Milo Stadsvold.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Stadsvold (Paul) of Las Cruces, Twyla Rush (Ken) of Edina, Minnesota, Cindy Peterson (Joel) of Peoria, Illinois, Tom Altenhofen (Jane) of Ankeny, Tim Altenhofen (Karen) of Pella and Gary Altenhofen (Pam) of Spencer; and her sisters, Mary Jane Schaffer of Washington and Barbara Lyle of Sigourney. She is also survived by her children, and later their spouses and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
