She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Walker and Lillian Walker (Parker); her former husband Edwin Ballard; her son Shawn Walker; and her siblings, Robert Walker, Melvin Walker, Marjorie Cottrell and Barb Kalma.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Hesse (Scott) of Newton and Ernest Ballard of Newton; her grandchildren, Edwin Dobbs, Shawn Dobbs, Susan Jiron (Josh) and Andrew Ballard (Morgan); her great grandchild Zoe; and her sister Jane Maple of Newton.
