He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Jenkins and Cleora Jenkins (Zickel); his son Rick Jenkins; his son-in-law Tony Coniglio; and his brother-in-law Harvey Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Sandie Jenkins of Newton; his children, Tim Jenkins of Newton and Vickie Coniglio of Lancaster, California; his sister Marlene Lauber (Duane) of Newton; and his sister-in-law Barbara Reynolds of Ankeny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
