He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lothe and Ferne Lothe (Hesson); his wife Jo Anne of Baxter, IA; and his brothers, Darrell, Duane and Burton.

He is survived by: his children, Linda DeGreef of Newton, James Lothe of Chicago, IL and Steve Lothe of West Wardsboro, VT. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and his many friends.
