He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Tiny" and Bessie Maxfield (Matney); and his brothers, Jim Maxfield and Steve Maxfield. He is survived by: his wife Jen Maxfield of Newton; his children, Rodney Maxfield (Tom) of Denver, Kelly Maxfield (Jill) of Lincoln, Bruce York (Jenell) of Des Moines, Renae Lindemann of Nevada and Benjamin York of State Center; his grandchildren, Zachary (Amber), Kelsey, Jacob, Jordan, Cade, Joshua, Chase, Jaedon, Elizabeth, Samson, Katrina, Marissa, Daniel, Lance and Bennett; his great grandchild Tyler; and his sister Brenda Wardman (Bud) of Columbus, Nebraska.
