Adrena Van Zee Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adrena Van Zee of Newton, Iowa, born in Platte, South Dakota, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meyerink and Adrianna Meyerink (Vanden Bos); her son Eric Jon Van Zee; her parents-in-law, Engel and Dena Van Zee; and her siblings, Leona Ringling, Martha Munneke, Wilma Hasseler, Harlow Meyerink and Bertus Meyerink.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Dean Van Zee of Newton; her sons, Cary Van Zee of Kellogg and Brad Van Zee (Candy) of Newton; her daughter-in-law Colleen Van Zee of Victor; her sisters, Lillian Beukelman of Sioux Falls, SD and Mickey Zwagerman of Bozeman, Montana; and her sister-in-law Rose Meyerink of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren: along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Newton Christian School.
