He was predeceased by: his father Bob Rubner; and his brother Phillip Rubner. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Rubner (Smith) of Arlington, Iowa; his wife Carolyn Rubner of Newhall; his children, Joshua Marble (Dana) of Cedar Rapids, Desiree Rizzio (Melissa) of Cedar Rapids, Sheena Rizzio of Cedar Rapids, Destinee Rizzio of Cedar Rapids and Jordan Rizzio of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Jim Rubner (Deb) of Sumner, Diana Helgerson (Jeff) of Oelwein, Greg Rubner (Denise) of Arlington, Daryl Rubner (Terri) of Fairbank, Caryl Cushion (Darrell) of Fayette, Gary Rubner (Kim Orion) of Oelwein and Beth Hinch (Doug) of Norwalk; and his pet Wiley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
