It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Franklin Pickering of Newhall, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pickering and Evelyn Pickering (Braksiek); his wife Delores Schirm; his children, Mark Pickering and Tami Pickering; and his brother Larry Pickering.

He is survived by: his daughter Jodi England (Scott) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Brittney England and Marcus England (Elisabeth); his sister Kay Albertsen (Don) of Van Horne; his brother-in-law Harold Schirm (Rosemary) of Avondale, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Matt Levenhagen, Patty Pirkl, Linda Freitag, Mike Levenhagen and Jim Freie.
