We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2022, at the age of 93, Kathleen Marie Thompson of Newhall, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Lauterwasser and Irene Lauterwasser (Senne); her husband Harold Thompson; her brothers, Lewis Lauterwasser and Kenneth Lauterwasser (Colleen); and her husbands, Glen and Marj Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Drugg (Dave), Steve Thompson (Patti), Sandy Glienke (Dave), Shari Moeller (Marc), Scott Thompson (Becky), Stella Wolter (Calvin), Shirley Paul (Dick), Sally York (John) and Sara Thompson (Gary Osborne); and her sister-in-law Rozella Lauterwasser. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Mission Central and Orphan Grain Train.
