She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Augusta Smith (Faas); her husband Eldon H. Von Ahsen; her children, Sandra Kay and Dennis; and her sister Esther Von Ahsen.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Nick Von Ahsen (Angie) and Jeff Von Ahsen; her daughter-in-law Patricia "Pinky" Von Ahsen of Newhall; her great grandchildren, Will, Emma and Owen Von Ahsen; and her sister-in-law Lorena Joseph of Columbus, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established.
