She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rammelsberg and Emma Rammelsberg (Krug); and her siblings, Merle and Shirley Gewecke. She is survived by: her children, Dean Folkmann (Julie) of Newhall and Diane Folkmann of Cedar Rapids; her granddaughter Katelyn Folkmann (Brice Hodnefield); and her sister Verla Rammelsberg of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vinton Lutheran Home or St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall.
