He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert DeKlotz and Velma DeKlotz (Reisser); his son Mark; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Mochal and Don Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Riley; his children, Steven of Newhall, Brenda Sojka (Marty) of Canon City, CO, Brian (Becky) of Center Point and Brad (Sherry) of Morning Sun; his grandchildren, Nicole Sojka, Marcus Sojka (Kayla), Jen Sojka (Kacy Messerschmidt), Michael Sojka (Oana Enache), Ben and Nick DeKlotz; his stepgranddaughter Lori Fritcher; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Kaelyn, Brilee and Addison Fritcher; and his sisters, Elsie Mochal, Joyce Wheeler, Barb Franck (Cleyon) and Sherrie Bouton (Bob). He is also survived by 2 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson.
