With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene M. Cook of Newhall, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on September 1, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Brian Cook (Penny) of Atkins, Lesia Ubben (Sherman) of Traer and Susan Davis (Frank) of Newhall; her stepchildren, Rick Capps (Nancy) of Washington and Brenda Gonnerman (Dan) of Florissant, MO; her husbands, Frederick Cook and Earl Capps; her brother Arlo Stanley; and her parents, Merle Stanley and Ida Stanley (Chapman). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
A memorial fund has been established.
