Steve Samelson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Samelson of Newell, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart "Swede" Alvin and Marjorie June Samelson (Witter); and his half-brother Larry Cerwinski. He is survived by: his daughter Amy (Aaron Kolbe); his grandchildren, Taylor Kolbe and Aaron Kolbe; and his brother Frank Samelson of Newell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the Newell food pantry and the First Congregational church.
