We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 85, Wayne Hamaker Clark of New Virginia, Iowa, born in Bloomfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wayne Hamaker departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wayne Hamaker may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wayne Hamaker leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Clark and Doris Clark (Hamaker); his wife Peggy Clark; and his daughter Brenda Hovey. He is survived by: his son Tim Clark (Penny) of New Virginia; his son-in-law Jeff Hovey of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Marit Hovey, Ryan Hovey, Justin Hovey and Austin Clark; and his sister Sheryl Jacobson (Jake).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Norwalk Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Cemetery - Webb Cemetery.
